Their First Christmas, Bound Together...
All Jude wants for Christmas is Rori, all to himself. It's their first holiday season as a couple, and staying home, seeing friends and family, means they'll be surrounded by the memory of Rori's late husband. It's time for Jude and Rori to create their own traditions. Time for them to fully explore their most intimate desires to dominate and submit.
Rori is thrilled when Jude whisks her away to a luxury resort in the mountains. Spending Christmas away, just the two of them, is the perfect time to show him she's ready to give herself to him completely...

I enjoy reading an update story on characters I've grown attached to. Unfortunately I had just read Second Chances right before Believe, so it really wasn't an update. I don't know what story Lauren could have created for Jude and Rori, but I think if thought was really put into it, it most definitely would have been better than what I read. Don't get me wrong I have nothing against Lauren. She is one of my favorite authors, but there wasn't really a story to this. Rori and Jude get away alone for the holidays and they have great sex, spend time talking, and making decisions about their future. The whole time it's confirmed page after page about how much they love each and can't be without each other, and Second Chances is retold. Jude asks Tori to marry him which is only inevitable because we're told numerous times that their relationship is forever. It was just repetitive information about their past and why they are so in love. Unfortunately, Believe just wasn't really a story with substance. I don't think you would be at a loss if you didn't purchase this one.Product details

Believe edition by Lauren Dane Contemporary Romance eBooks Reviews
First off, this novel is heavy into BDSM. If you're not into it, don't buy it. I like a little BDSM in some novels I read, but this was too much for me. I liked the characters in this book, I liked the heroine and heroes (yes there are two) but I skimmed over half of the book because of the heavy BDSM element.
I love everything Lauren Dane writes - this was unexpected and I shed a lot of tears - A great page turner!
I love the books of Lauren Dane. This time not about family values, but the love between a man and a woma, between a Dominant man and a submissive woman. A delightful book to read.
I read this book before I read Second Chances, which is the first book. The story is great for both books. I read them twice.
I couldn't put the book down. Highly recommended.
This is a short but good follow up to Second Chances. If you are one who is always looking for an epilogue in a book, this will give you that closure. Although the end of second chances gives you the gist of "after the story", this short read ties it all up in a neat bow. You could possibly read this as a stand alone, but personally, I don't think I would have found it deep enough.
What a great, short story to let readers know how Jude and Rori are doing. I loved the first book with all its ups and downs, so I thoroughly enjoyed catching up with these two.

It was a snowy cold day out so what a perfect time to read a Lauren Dane Christmas story. Firstly let me say I LOVED Second Chances. I loved Zach alot. In fact I was still mourning him at the end of the Second Chances story. I did think that Jude had redeemed himself in the book but I was still aching for Zach.
So I think that is why I needed to read Believe so much. I wanted Rori to be happy after our, er I mean her devasting loss of Zach and I knew Jude would be that man but I need...moreIt was a snowy cold day out so what a perfect time to read a Lauren Dane Christmas story. So I think that is why I needed to read Believe so much. I wanted Rori to be happy after our, er I mean her devasting loss of Zach and I knew Jude would be that man but I needed the time. Believe had come at a perfect time because it was a nice little novella of just Rori and Jude. I do 100% believe that they will be happy together and Jude has turned out to be a perfect man for Rori.
The story itself was great. Who wouldn't want to be wisked away to secluded cabin with a hunk of love like Jude. The scenes were hot and the love between the pair was evident. I feel greatly satisfied with the conclusion of their story as well as giddy and warm & fuzzy.
